Purex Insiders-- Purex plus Oxi Product Review

Once again Purex has asked me to try one of their new products. So all this week we have been using Purex plus Oxi liquid laundry detergent.

As you already know I am an avid Purex user. It's truly the only brand we use, mainly because of our sensitive skin and price. So, I already knew I would love this product. We did one load with the regular Purex and one with the Oxi in it. I placed an item from each load of laundry and put them side by side. I did notice a slight difference. The Purex with Oxi did take out more stains than the normal Purex.

Purex with Oxi is formulated to work against 101 different types of stains, which makes it the most powerful Purex to date. One thing I love about Purex is the ability to use their detergent in both high efficiency and traditional washers. Purex has the stain fighting power since it has added Oxi, and it still remains a hypoallergenic formula with a light scent perfect for any load of laundry.

Mom's Meet- Tricalm Product Review

Hello everyone! I had applied to try tricalm a few months ago with the green Mom's meet ambassador program. What this program does is essentially let mom's and mom's in a play group to sample and review a product. This time I was accepted to sample Tricalm.
What is Tricalm?
-- Tricalm is a non-numbing, steroid free hydrogel that can be used on bug bites, rashes, sunburns, and poison oak or ivy.
--Tricalm also may be used to relive dry skin and eczema related symptoms.
--It is FDA approved as well as safe to use daily on children and adults.
--Tricalm does not increase sensitivity to UV rays unlike other products out there.
--Tricalm retails for $9.49 for a 2 ounce tube.
My review of Tricalm as well as other mom's in my group.
The group of parents I shared Tricalm with was interested in the product. While it is cool and not quite winter here in North Carolina, the dry skin epidemic that occurs every year has begun! Once the parents as well as myself got to the point of needing something for our dry itchy skin, we tried out Tricalm. The texture of the product was not like I thought it would be. While it was definitely a gel, I thought it was a touch to runny and hard to control while applying the product. However, once the product was applied to the areas of dry skin, I did being to feel the relief I was so desiring. All I did was apply just a little bit of Tricalm to the effected area and rubbed it in. I would say within about 10-15 minutes I felt the difference. The other parents felt the same way. Most of them love the fact that it was steroid free and green product.

Lose weight for the holiday's with diet doc!

I did receive the product form the diet doc weightloss pre-packaged weightloss food program. I was not overly impressed with the product. I was impressed at how the HCG was explained. To learn more about HCG please go here HCG Diet Plan. I was able to sample three of their packets. I personally tried the chili, chicken gumbo, and steak soup.

 Over all I wasn't impressed with the flavor at all. However, I did appreciate the 20 calories per serving. Although the product was supplied to me I can not see myself sticking with this particular diet because it only requires 800 calories a day and I was constantly hungry for those 3 days.  This program make work for some, but I do not believe this was the one for me.

This computer game gave me step daughter the outlet that she needed to explore the appreciation for music. Now, this game has two main purposes. The game helps sharpen their listening skill, as well as problem solving skills, and finally understanding the basics of music.

My step daughter loves the game. Ever since she was a little girl she has always loved music. If it had music she loves it. So needless to say, she also loved this game as well. Her favorite part was finding the keys throughout the game. The keys would work with her on different parts of music. She loved the memory part to the game.

Review:
I was sent a sample from the Mom's Meet Ambassador program, which has partnered with Ecover. While trying the new Ecover Laundry Liquid Concentrate Zero I washed one load of clothes. I also washed with my normal laundry detergent Purex. I noticed that I didn't have to use as much of the Ecover product compared to Purex. When everything was dried I held up two articles of clothing. A shirt and another shirt from the other load. I found both detergents to have done a great job. The biggest difference I had found was there was no scent. Which not having a scent with Ecover does not bother me, since I have allergies as well as sensitive skin.

After trying the Ecover detergent I also supplied samples to a few more mom's like myself. Many of them agreed with my opinions that they wished it had a scent. However, nobody disagreed that it was a great detergent and was affordable!

Guess Moo! An app for kids

Hello,
I was given the opportunity to try and review Guess Moo! An interactive application for your tablet or phone.
The application costs $2.99 in the Apple App Store. The Guess Moo application does a great job at teaching children ages 2-5. My step daughter absolutely loves it and calls it the chicken game. This fun interactive game teaches young children what types of animals there are and the sounds they make it. Now as the game progresses their is a reading of pictures and poems to help your child learn each of the animals. To watch a video of Guess Moo!, please click here.
The quiz part of the game is actually my step daughters favorite part. She loves how it makes a sound and asks "Who am I?"'. Then if you get the answer correct it says uh-huh, and continues to the next animal. If you get it he answer incorrect it says no, and continues on. At the end if the quiz, there is a very fun interactive game where the animals are flying with balloons and you have to pop the balloon in order to put the animals pack on the farm.
Overall, I find this to be a great app for my step-daughter to continue learning about animals. As Cecelia would say "This game is so cool! Thank you!". To view Guess Moo! at the AppStore please click here.

Picture Collage Maker Review

Hey everyone!

As many of you know I am planning my upcoming wedding in february. I was asked to review the Picture Collage Maker as a back to school item. This software is very simple to use on both windows and a Mac. I have both systems and enjoyed it. All you do is drag and drop pictures to create a collage. I made 3 separate collages for my wedding. One of myself, one of my future husband, and one of both of us. However, I can not post these pictures because some family members I not want their pictures all over the web. Without their explicit permission I will not post these images out of respect for them. I love my collages and yes they will be used at my winter wonderland wedding. The software allows you to print, email, and save as an image file. My personal favorite is the collage can have clip art added very easily.

All in all I give this software great reviews. It's easy to use, navigate, and fun!

Bzzagent-- Dentyne Split2Fit Campaign.

Hello,





is keeping me busy these days. We have yet another bzzcampaign to review and tell you all about it!


The first thing I noticed is the Number of pieces per pack. They are normally 12 pieces. Dentyne has increased the pack by about 33%. The split2fit pack is now 16 pieces.

The Dentyne pack can be split in half and be used only in a few pieces at a time. Overall I enjoy the new packs it fits virtually anywhere.

Moms meet- Adrisin sampling

Hello everyone!




I am a moms meet ambassador. When I am selected I have to hold a get together with other moms in my moms meet group. This particular sampling was for Adrisin and all organic and homeopathic medicine for allergy sufferers.

As you can see below all the ingredients are all organic.





Adrisin can temporarily relieve of the following allergy symptoms:
-sneezing
-runny nose
-watery eyes
-skin irritations

The best part of using adrisin is it will not interfere with any other medicine you may be taking. I am a horrible allergy sufferer, especially in the winter and summer months. When I tried adrisin I stared to feel the medicine working within a few days. I was quite amazed at how much better I was feeling. Please keep in mind that my allergies are grass ragweed, and dust. I also take medicine from the doctor. None of my prescriptions were effected by taking Adrisin.

DIY-- pinecone bouquet.

Hey everybody,


As most of you know I am engaged, and am planning an incredibly frugal wedding. Truth be told I discovered that getting flowers for a wedding is so expensive!! So, since I am having a winter wedding, I thought of a pinecone bouquet for my bridesmaids. Not only is this an inexpensive way to have a bouquet, but each bouquet costs abort $5.00 to make.



All you need is:
1-roll of green floral tape
1- screw per pine cone
6 -pinecones per bouquet
An array of flowers, leaves, or straw for the bouquet
1- roll of ribbon.

This picture illustrates how you piece them together.





I used screws in the bottom of the pinecone and wrapped the wire around the, so it would be sturdier.

Here is my finished bouquet.

18 Rabbits--MANGO STRAWBERRY GRANOLA BAR review

Hello friends!





I had the opportunity to try an organic product by 18 rabbits called the mango strawberry granola bar. This opportunity was provided by Swaggable.com. I was supplied with one granola bar, although I was supplied this granola bar all opinions of this product are my own.


To be honest, at first I though this was not going to be the greatest granola bar that I had ever tasted. I didn't think that mango and strawberry would be a very good mix. Boy, was I ever wrong. Is was an incredible flavor combination. It truly tasted like a grown up version of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the peanut butter. It had an incredible soft texture even though it had oats. Every bite was delicious. I even gave a bite to my step daughter and she loved it as well.

I am a new admin to this site, so let me introduce myself first. My name is Daniel. I am actually the boyfriend to the wonderful woman who actually publishes this blog. I work full time as a police officer in Charlotte, North Carolina and I am also a BzzAgent as well. I also have a 3 year old daughter who can be quite a handful at times. Crowdtap: Old Navy Swimwear Hosted Party

I am a member of Crowdtap, which is a great opportunity to try products, give your opinions, earn free gift cards, and help charities! I personally support the ASPCA for animals, and donate a part of my earnings to them. This time I was selects to hold an Oldnavy Swimsuit hosted party at my local Oldnavy.

So I took a friend of mine who is actually getting married this coming Saturday and needed a swimsuit for her pre-honeymoon. She is a fairly average sized person and was able to find the perfect suit very quickly. I on the other hand had a horrible time trying to find a swimsuit that would actually fit. Unlike her I have a large cheat and a rather skinny body. So finding a suit that would actually fit was incredibly hard. She chose a 1 piece suit.

My mother and I have very think hair and it's often a challenge to find a product that not only leaves my hair clean but also soft! I loved how the product made my hair feel. The first time I used it I put the conditioner in my hair for the extra softness, boy was that a mistake. I had hair going everywhere! So, now I am using the shampoo alone and it it working wonders. I truly love this product.

Bzzagent: Dark Monk Campaign!

Hey guys,
It's time for a new bzz campaign for anotherBzzagent campaign. This time I was selected to participate in the e-book campaign for the Dark Monk book. This particular campaign come with both e-books from Oliver Pötzsch. The first book in the series is The Hangman's Daughter.
The story is in Germany, 1660: When a dying boy is pulled from the river with a mark crudely tattooed on his shoulder, hangman Jakob Kuisl - whose wisdom and empathy are as unusual as his despised profession - is called upon to investigate whether witchcraft is at play.
Magdalena, the hangman's clever and headstrong daughter, is destined to be married off to another hangman's son — except that the town physician's son is hopelessly in love with her. Crowdtap: McCormick's Grill Mates hosted party!

Hello everyone,
This Memorial Day weekend was a great time to host a BBQ with family and friends in order to remember all those soldiers who have and are still serving our country. This weekend I was actually invited to one BBQ and I held another BBQ at my parents home.

The party I attended we used the Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon BBQ sauce, and uses the Memphis pit BBQ rub on the pork chops.
The food was absolutely fabulous! The pork chops we ate off the bone and it didn't even need a fork! We had BBQ chicken to use the sauce for. The sauce was also amazing. This party was held at a friends home.





The second party I had attended took place with my parents at their home. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, and brat burst sausages. We all like our food spicy so we had used all of the spices and sauces that were provided. We all loved the products.





Overall, the sampling that both crowdtap and McCormick had provided me with we're received as they were going out of style. Everyone absolutely loved them. Personally, I loved the spices, rubs, and sauce for the flavor. The spices had the hot taste that I love on all of my food.

Swaggable: Dream Water Review

Hey everyone!
You know I do everything possible to get the best reviews on some of the best products out there. Well, today I bring you Dream water. I signed up for Swaggable.com about a month ago and I was so excited that I was selected to try dream water. Dream water is an all natural 0-calorie and relaxation shot that you take about 30 minutes prior to going to bed.
First, let me start by saying I am probably one of the worst sleepers in the world. I toss and turn, sleep walk and talk, have horrible insomnia, and wake up at the slightest noise, So I am extremely excited to actually try a product that is suppose to help a person sleep.
The sample I received from Swaggable.com was the 2.5 ounce Snoozeberry blueberry pomegranate. I was at first scared to taste the product because I had read that it tasted like cough syrup. So, I put my in the fridge the night before so it would be cold. So roughly 45 prior to my bedtime I drank the 2.5 ounces of Dream Water. The taste actually was not all that bad. It did have a little tang afterwards, but was does not these days. The taste was fruity and the blueberry was very noticeable. After about 15 minutes, I really started to feel the Dream Water kick in. I started to feel relaxed and as if I could just curl up into a ball and fall right to sleep, which for me does not happen very often. So, how does this all work you ask? Well, it's simple. Just look at the diagram below.

So, today is a new day and I have officially tried the Dream Water. Does the product live up to it's name. Absolutely! I can actually say I slept like a baby for thirst time in a very long time. I would definitely recommend this product to people like me who have a difficult time sleeping.

Crowdtap: madagascar 3 party!

Hey everyone I recently had a party promoting madagascar 3 for crowdtap and dream works productions. We all had a blast. We watched Madagascar 2, ate key lime pie and even did tye dye shirts. We were at the beach on vacation and stretched the party over a few days. we actually had more fun than expected!

We first watched the Madagascar 2 movie. While watching the movie I had everyone jotting down what things they saw when the washed ashore, and after the movie was over we all went outside on the beach to find many different things. Here are just a few that we found.

One of the many programs I participate in for doing reviews on this blog had sent me some wonderful Honey Bunches Of Oats by Post.

Now, let me say that I am generally not the biggest cereal eater. Heck, I hardly eat breakfast! However, I tried this product and to my surprise I actually enjoyed it. As many of you already know I am a member of Smile.ly or Smile 360. This website often sends you surveys to see if you qualify for a product sampling. This particular sampling is for Children's Advil. So why would you use children's Advil over the leading brand. First off, this is a wonderful product and it helped my step daughter out tremendously. I gave her the children's Advil fever. The children's Advil fever comes in four different favors and it active ingredient is ibuprofen 100mg. It is primarily used for reduction of fever, minor aches and pains due to a cold, flu, toothaches, or even a headache. I loved this product because it was a liquid and it's nearly impossible for me to give her anything in a tablet form. Her dosage was 1 tsp every 8 hours which ment only four times a day.
